How I work

  1. Understand the business

Product strategy, stakeholder map, metrics: I understand what the company needs before I start designing. UX without business understanding is decoration.

  2. Apply UX perspective

User needs, existing flows, data: I translate insights into a clear problem definition. That's the foundation for every design decision.

  3. Simplify complexity

From concept to interface: I design structures that guide users without patronising them. Iterations happen fast, in hours instead of days.

  4. Iterate continuously

No product is finished after the first version. I accompany the cycle: evaluate feedback, form hypotheses, make targeted adjustments. Over months and years.

Senior experience. Solid craft. Accelerated by AI.

Experience & Method
I started out in an agency, close to clients and their projects. Today I'm embedded in product teams at enterprise and midmarket companies, run B2B projects, and support agencies as an external UX designer. Mostly I build features and iterations, sometimes complete websites. Along the way I've built design systems, coordinated user testing, and hired designers.
Craft
The manual craft remains my foundation: precise pixel execution, typographic detail work, clean component logic. In Figma I build interfaces and design systems, from first concept to finished component. After 20+ years I can tell quickly whether a layout holds up or just looks good. No AI replaces that judgment. It depends on it.
AI in the design process
With Claude Code I build entire websites myself, including complex animations and interactions, without the detour through a development team. I get research synthesis, interview analysis, and UX audits done in hours instead of days. Consistency checks run right inside the design process. In daily use: Claude Chat, Claude Design, and Claude Code.
Prototyping
With Figma Make I turn ideas into clickable prototypes before they enter the discussion. Interactive prototypes take a fraction of the time and can be put in front of stakeholders and user tests right away. Instead of talking about concepts, we test them. Faster to the right question, faster to a reliable answer.

Cumo Drivers Club

Cumo Drivers Club

A community for sports car enthusiasts, centred around Alpine touring routes. A passion for driving is the starting point — everything around it benefits from my UX expertise and curiosity about AI. From route planning to community management, much of it runs automated or AI assisted. A project where passion, design thinking, and automation speak the same language.
