Experience & Method
I started out in an agency, close to clients and their projects. Today I'm embedded in product teams at enterprise and midmarket companies, run B2B projects, and support agencies as an external UX designer. Mostly I build features and iterations, sometimes complete websites. Along the way I've built design systems, coordinated user testing, and hired designers.
Craft
The manual craft remains my foundation: precise pixel execution, typographic detail work, clean component logic. In Figma I build interfaces and design systems, from first concept to finished component. After 20+ years I can tell quickly whether a layout holds up or just looks good. No AI replaces that judgment. It depends on it.
AI in the design process
With Claude Code I build entire websites myself, including complex animations and interactions, without the detour through a development team. I get research synthesis, interview analysis, and UX audits done in hours instead of days. Consistency checks run right inside the design process. In daily use: Claude Chat, Claude Design, and Claude Code.
Prototyping
With Figma Make I turn ideas into clickable prototypes before they enter the discussion. Interactive prototypes take a fraction of the time and can be put in front of stakeholders and user tests right away. Instead of talking about concepts, we test them. Faster to the right question, faster to a reliable answer.
